Why Global Warming Is Real

Whether man made or not it has been shown that our earth is warming. Global warming has become one of the biggest issues of the 20th century. The question seems to be whether or not man actually has anything to do with this and if or when it will reverse itself.

The simple truth of the matter is that we do not yet have all of the answer to this. What we do know is that there are many other issues in our world and that we need to work together to improve the environment. Everything seems to be linked and if we change even one thing it may have a significant impact on other things.

Whether or not the burning of fossil fuels is causing global warming, there is still a need to find alternatives. Fossil fuels will eventually run out. If we don’t have an alternative in place then life as we know it could come to a screeching halt.

Everything we do has an impact on our environment. We may not see the changes right away but that doesn’t mean they don’t exist. The fumes we release into the air must go somewhere. Even if they are not causing the ice caps to melt then they could have other effects that we may not even know about yet.

The warming of the earth could well be a natural cycle. Even if this is true then we should ask ourselves if we are having an impact on the natural order of things. How can anyone say for certain that we are not speeding up this process? How can scientist possibly say that it will not be worse this time and that humans are not the cause?

Simply put there is no way to know if man has caused this or not. What we do know is that we have a responsibility to our earth. We have to do what ever we can to limit the effects of this and still survive in this world.
